Alternative Medicine: Holistic Healing for Whole-Pet Wellness

At our veterinary hospital, we believe in treating the whole pet, not just the symptoms. That’s why we offer integrative, alternative therapies that complement traditional veterinary care and support your pet’s long-term health and well-being.

What Is Alternative Veterinary Medicine?

Alternative medicine focuses on non-invasive, natural, and supportive therapies to help manage pain, reduce inflammation, and promote healing. These treatments are often used alongside standard medical care, offering a well-rounded, gentle approach to pet wellness. These services can be especially beneficial for pets with chronic conditions like arthritis, disc disease, skin issues, or recovering from surgery.

Why Consider Alternative Treatments?

Alternative therapies are gentle, drug-free, and well-tolerated by most pets. They’re often recommended for:

  • Pain management

  • Mobility issues or arthritis

  • Post-operative recovery

  • Immune system support

  • Pets who don’t respond well to traditional medications

These options may help improve your pet’s quality of life, especially when used regularly as part of a broader treatment plan.

What to Expect During a Visit

Your pet’s alternative medicine visit typically includes:

  1. A full physical evaluation and review of medical history

  2. Discussion of symptoms, lifestyle, and current treatments

  3. A personalized therapy plan, which may include laser, iTherm, or ozone sessions

  4. Ongoing follow-up to monitor progress and adjust care as needed

All therapies are non-invasive, stress-free, and safe for most pets, including seniors or those with chronic conditions.

Is It Right for Your Pet?

Our veterinary team will guide you through whether alternative therapies may benefit your pet. In many cases, these treatments are used alongside medications or surgery to boost results and support recovery.

We’re proud to offer advanced healing options that reflect the latest in integrative veterinary care. Your pet deserves a treatment plan as unique as they are—one that supports both body and spirit.
