  • Bloating with retching (a sign of GDV)

Emergency Pet Hospital of Craven-Carteret is a walk-in facility only.

Here at Emergency Pet Hospital of Craven-Carteret, hospitalized pets must be picked up by 7:00 AM the following morning or a $50 late fee will be charged. It is the responsibility of the pet owner to pick up their pet and transfer, if necessary, to their regular veterinarian.

Patients are seen in order of arrival to the clinic at Emergency Pet Hospital of Craven-Carteret but animals with critical, life-threatening problems naturally take priority.

For your safety, Emergency Pet Hospital of Craven-Carteret asks that you allow the technician to restrain your pet during the examination. Please keep your face and hands out of reach of your pet during this time.

For the safety of your pet and other clients/patients within Emergency Pet Hospital of Craven-Carteret, all pets must be on a leash or in a carrier.
